Hilltop Renewal Center is a 17 acre mountain retreat nestled in the San Jacinto mountain range in Idyllwild, California. Set among tall whistling pines, sweet smelling cedars and legendary rock formations, Hilltop shouts God’s creation. Mountain views, hiking trails, and outdoor reading benches beckon any visitor to absorb the beauty and wonder of His creation alongside of Him.
House of Prayer
A simple yet sacred one-room chapel, a quiet place to linger in the presence of the Lord. Inside, a large communion table anchors the space, where groups and individuals are welcome to gather for reflection or small breakouts. A winding path leads to the courtyard behind the chapel, a peaceful spot to rest and pray. With both heat and air conditioning, the chapel is comfortable in every season..
Sculptural Prayer Garden
An outdoor sanctuary just behind the chapel, a sacred place to linger in the presence of the Lord. Along the pathways are four marked stations of prayer, where you can rest on a bench and reflect on the bronze sculpture with inscribed Scriptures and reflective questions. All of it rests beneath a majestic canopy of trees, where the beauty of God’s creation frames every moment of stillness and prayer.
Inspiration Point
A short hike up the hill behind the property, a quiet perch that embodies the very heart of Hilltop. From this vantage you can see far beyond the 17 acres, taking in sweeping views of the San Jacinto mountain range. Whether morning light, midday sun, or evening glow, this place ushers in a deep spiritual experience. A bench waits at the top for rest, prayer, or reading, and the clearly marked trail makes the walk simple and inviting in every season.
